Join us in welcoming Lori Rader-Day as she launches her new book, Death at Greenway (available October 12, 2021).

Lori Rader-Day is the Edgar® Award-nominated and Anthony and Mary Higgins Clark award-winning author of The Lucky OneUnder a Dark SkyThe Day I DiedLittle Pretty Things, and The Black Hour. She lives in Chicago, where she is co-chair of the mystery readers’ conference Murder and Mayhem in Chicago and the immediate past national president of Sisters in Crime.

A Boone County native and Western Boone graduate, Lori's previous works are often set in Indiana or feature Hoosier characters living elsewhere in the Midwest.  All are available for checkout from our library; additional copies can be borrowed through Evergreen.

Her newest work, a suspense novel set in Agatha Christie’s country house during the WWII evacuation, has received a starred review from Publisher's Weekly: Death at Greenway is a “richly nuanced mystery… Rader-Day nicely evokes the isolation and dislocations of people in WWII Britain while revealing her characters’ complexities. Despite the many allusions to Christie’s life and work, she eschews an artificially neat conclusion. Fans of both Christie and Rader-Day will relish this.”

We look forward to welcoming Lori and learning more about her work.  Please join us for a fun afternoon with a wonderful mystery author.
